Description
Sandy dunes rise and fall in uneven succession, their surfaces smooth in some places, ridged in others. The desert stretches wide, quiet and still, marked only by the slow curves of the terrain. Above, the evening sky holds scattered clouds—some faint, others clustered—drifting across the open expanse. The light is softening, casting a calm over the dunes without deepening into shadow. There is no movement across the sand, no visible trail or trace. Just sand and sky, laid out plainly, the day slipping without resistance into dusk.
